3yga Ali Stakes His Claim With Bold Debut EP 3YGA WARNINGThe update
Kaduna-born, Abuja-based artist 3yga Ali (Caleb Aliyu) is carving his name into Nigeria’s growing alternative rap and afrodrill scene. Known for his fluid rap delivery, gritty storytelling, and fearless energy, 3yga Ali has evolved from dominating online battle rap groups and dropping viral freestyles in 2017 to becoming one of the country’s most promising drill voices.
His breakout moment came in 2023 with Shine featuring Zilla Oaks, a hard-hitting single that earned a coveted spot on Spotify’s official Naija Drill playlist, solidifying his place among a new wave of artists shaping the genre’s future. Now, with his debut EP 3YGA WARNING (2025), 3yga Ali delivers a powerful statement of intent. The project blends unapologetic braggadocio, melodic hooks, and street-conscious bars, featuring heavyweights like Eeskay, Terry Tha Rapman, BiG OG, and Moefasa.
3YGA WARNING is more than a debut—it’s a manifesto. Each track channels 3yga Ali’s hunger and resilience, offering a raw look into the streets while embracing afro-influenced rhythms and alternative rap textures. With this release, he firmly establishes himself as a rising force, spearheading the next era of Nigerian drill and alternative rap.
As afrodrill continues to evolve, 3yga Ali is setting the pace—one bar at a time.
