The Voice of Experience Returns
After back-to-back drops of No Pressure (2022) and No Pressure, Vol. 2 (2023), Nigerian rapper and lyrical craftsman Bobbo Esko is back — more introspective, more fearless, and more seasoned than ever.

His latest offering, FEAR WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW (FWYDK), drops this Saturday, July 5th, 2025, and it promises to be a defining moment in the artist’s journey from Asata to acclaim.
Born Chukwuebuka ThankGod, the Enugu-raised rapper is no stranger to complexity. A professional Doctor of Physiotherapy by degree and a poet by instinct, Bobbo’s new album reflects the tensions between intellect and instinct, fear and ambition — and most of all, what it means to navigate the unknown as a black man with dreams that stretch beyond borders.
A Collaborative Alchemy with Icebeatzz
The entire album is produced by Icebeatzz (Chidera Egbo), Bobbo’s long-time collaborator and trusted creative partner. Their bond is built on years of mutual understanding and trust, which shines throughout FWYDK.

The project was born from “a remarkable chemistry and shared vision for creating exceptional music,” according to Bobbo, and it’s clear that this wasn’t just about making tracks — it was about telling a story.
From the fierce Afro-hop rhythm of “BLACK KING” to the soulful trap energy of “MY FAULT,” Icebeatzz provides a rich and versatile backdrop that allows Bobbo to float, punch, confess, and celebrate all in one breath.
A Sound Built on Contrast
The album is an intentional blend of hip-hop’s grit, Afrobeat’s bounce, and R&B’s vulnerability.
FWYDK isn’t just about flexing skills — it’s a sonic meditation on power, fear, and legacy.

In Bobbo’s Own Words
“This tape is about what happens when we confront the things we don’t understand — fear, ambition, pain, pride.
We didn’t want to just make a project, we wanted to make an experience.
Icebeatzz and I built every beat, every transition, every hook like a step through that dark tunnel.
And what you find on the other side? That’s up to you.”
