BOYLIKEVILLA RELEASES POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “ALAYE” — A RAW STORY OF BETRAYAL, FAITH, AND RISEThe update
Abuja’s fast-rising Afrobeats artist Boylikevilla has officially released his latest single, “Alaye”, now available on all major streaming platforms.

The track, which dropped October 10th, captures a deeply personal story of betrayal, divine elevation, and resilience, offering listeners both a groove and a message.
A TRUE STORY TURNED INTO SOUND
Born Elias David Birdling, the Abuja-based artist from Adamawa State transforms a real-life moment of betrayal into a motivational anthem. In “Alaye”, Boylikevilla recounts how someone close to him tried to take credit for his work. Instead of letting pain define him, he channeled it into a powerful reminder of self-belief and gratitude to God.
Over crisp Afrobeats production and a rhythm that stays stuck in your head, Boylikevilla’s street-honed delivery gives the song a raw, emotional edge.
“Alaye you wan steal my maye,
my nigga pass me the jay,
I wan still puff rosé.”
That lyric says it all—hurt turned into strength, pressure turned into purpose.
THE SOUND OF THE STREETS, THE SPIRIT OF GROWTH
“Alaye” blends authentic Afrobeats percussion with Villa’s unfiltered street energy. It’s both danceable and reflective, connecting deeply with fans who know what it means to face envy, stay grateful, and keep pushing forward.
