Episode 7: TRAVELER by TRIPSTER.

• Hello Tripster, nice to have you on today’s episode of TALK WITH US… let’s know you officially, what’s your real name?

My name is Princewill Eniola Adams.

• What inspired the name Tripster?

The name Tripster actually has two origins. One, “TRIP” is an acronym for “Till I Rest In Peace.” Then the name evolved to “Tripster” when I discovered a part of me that has a jester personality. So yeah, The Tripster.

• How long have you been a cinematographer?

I’ve been a cinematographer for 4 years and counting now.

• What motivated your craft?

My music. My music is actually what motivated me to start learning how to make videos because I didn’t want to be at the mercy of someone who only wanted to execute what they felt was best for me, rather than what I wanted.

• What project cemented your name in the industry?

Hmm, thinking about it, I can’t place a finger on one specific project. It was more of a culmination of several projects I worked on during that particular period.

• How can you describe the journey coming up?

The journey hasn’t been easy at all—dealing with users, terrible clients, and not to mention the days when it feels like nothing is working out. But by the grace of God, and knowing how much I’ve sacrificed for this, I know I can’t afford to lose.

• What do you have to tell your colleagues coming up?

Message to my colleagues: Your passion for whatever you are doing isn’t determined by the good days when everything is going smoothly. It’s determined by your resilience through the bad days, even when things look like shit.

• Who do you wish to work with in the future?

Travis Scott and Rema.
