FAV4 TURNS UP THE HEAT ON UPCOMING AFROBEAT ANTHEM “TAMBOURINE”The update
Lagos-based Afrobeat sensation Fav4 is back and ready to take listeners on a steamy ride with his forthcoming single, “Tambourine.” Slated for release on July 25, 2025, the track is already generating buzz across the Nigerian underground for its hypnotic groove, suggestive storytelling, and confident delivery.
Produced by BigProm, Tambourine is a bold expression of passion and male sensuality, driven by slow-burning percussion, sultry melodies, and Fav4’s unmistakable blend of English and Igbo lyricism. It’s not just a song—it’s an experience.
A Bedroom Anthem with an Afrobeat Twist
“Tambourine” isn’t afraid to get intimate. Fav4 explores romantic desire with vivid metaphors like “Cabernet Sauvignon,” “tangerine,” and “gasoline,” painting a picture that’s both seductive and playful.
With standout lines like
“Tambourine, you go blow your trumpet – Paranranran,”
Fav4 turns flirtation into fireworks, delivering a performance that’s equal parts confident and catchy.
It’s the kind of song made for candle-lit nights, slow dances, and speakers turned up just loud enough to feel the bass in your bones.

Fav4 (real name Onwusor Chukwuemeka Favour) is quickly rising through Nigeria’s vibrant Afrobeat scene with his signature sound: unique, soothing, and vibey. Influenced by icons like Wizkid, Fela, Burna Boy, and Chris Brown, he fuses rich Afro rhythms with pop sensibility and raw storytelling.
Based in Lagos but rooted in his Igbo heritage, Fav4 brings authenticity and soul to every track. With Tambourine, he’s not just dropping a hit—he’s creating a cultural moment.

Fav4’s performance history includes major platforms like Miss Tourism Nigeria, and his discography—featuring songs like “Kill A Man,” “Nwanyi Oma,” and “Winnerman”—has already proven his ability to move crowds and win hearts.
With over 50 unreleased tracks in the vault and his debut EP on the way, Fav4 is more than ready for the spotlight.
